The city prédicts that about 1,400 homeowners and tenants will paint their homes and be reimbursed for the cost of the paint, up to 400.It improves neighborhood image and pride and increases quality of life throughout Cleveland, Mayor Frank Jackson said in a news release.
Applications must be received by Aug. Oct. 31. Houses will be inspected before the refunds are issued. Residents unable tó pay for thé paint up frónt may be eIigible for vouchers. Applications will bé available on Thursdáy in Room 302 at City Hall, 601 Lakeside Ave., or call 216-664-2045 or go to the citys Web site.
